1.6 Airball Kings
Gary wants to be on the basketball team so he can get a letter jacket and girls. Lisa puts a spell on the coach so that
he thinks Gary and Wyatt play great, even though they don’t. The other players resent the attention and praise the coach gives them. Lisa becomes a cheerleader and puts a spell on
Principal Scampi so that he starts writing cheers himself.
On the night of the big game, Gary and Wyatt are playing horribly so Lisa zaps Wyatt’s
handheld basketball game so that he can control Gary’s moves. They win and Gary sinks the winning basket. Chett watches from the crowd and looks suspicious. Afterwards, he confronts them and taunts them. Lisa tells him to stop.
He looks at her and says, “Oh, pom-pom girl, give me a T, give me an E. Just give me five minutes.”
She replies, “I’ll give you more than that.” Chett says, “Now you’re giving me something to cheer about.” Then she turns his head into a basketball.
