Beecher stares out the window in Sister Pete's office, watching the snow.
He tells Sister Pete he misses Keller and wonders who he will be if he wins parole.
Sister Pete says she will try to arrange a phone call with Keller. He meets with McClain again and she is optimistic about his chances for parole.
He says he'll take her to dinner if he gets out. Beecher gets to talk with Keller, but when Keller finds out about the parole, he tells Beecher to forget him and get on with his life. Then he hangs up. Beecher is disappointed.
