Beecher talks with Sister Pete about drinking after work. He taunts Vern in library about Mein Kampf, then about Vern's upcoming parole. Schillinger asks Wittlesey to kill Beecher, Beecher rhymes some more. Vern is charged with attempted murder and loses chance at parole.
