August 12, 2005:  We've now got a new "Wanted" page, with info on Lee's new show. Check it out. Also... the Press page has been updated with a ton of new articles and interviews, thanks to the premiere of "Wanted." I've been trying to gather them all, but if anyone finds one I didn't catch, please email me. Publicity photos and screen caps from the show have also been added to the photo gallery. That will continue to be updated.

June 21, 2005:  OZ: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON now on DVD/Video!

May 24, 2005:  Lee makes a guest appearance on the first three episodes of the second season of the FX channel drama, "Rescue Me." His episodes begin airing on June 21.

March 11, 2005:  Photos from Lee's March 10 guest appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation have been added to the gallery. Thanks to Cat for the caps!

February 5, 2005:  OZ: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON now on DVD/Video!
"Four years into its sentence, the stark prison drama remains as gutsy and compelling as ever. The season's 16 episodes come in a three-disc set, accompanied by commentary on two episodes with series creator Tom Fontana and co-stars Rita Moreno, Lee Tergesen and Dean Winters."

January 28, 2005:  "The Exonerated," a television special based on the original off-Broadway play, aired on Court TV on January 27. The drama uses actual testimony, interviews and letters to recount the experiences of six wrongly convicted, eventually freed Death Row inmates. Lee, who starred as Kerry Max Cook in the stage version of the play in 2003, plays the role of Walter Rhodes in this TV adaptation. "The Exonerated" is directed by Bob Balaban and was written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen.

JANUARY 20, 2005:  THE FOREIGNER:  Lee recently appeared in the off-Broadway play "The Foreigner," at the Laura Pels Theatre in New York City. The show opened November 7 and ran through January 2005.Click here for more information about the show.

The trailer for "Monster" is now available online. Click here to check it out.  Monster will premiere in select theaters on December 26, and then in a wider release in the weeks following. For a full schedule, cast and story info, check out the film's official site. 

Lee is currently shooting The Forgotten with Julianne Moore, Dominic West and Gary Sinise. The film will be released by Columbia Pictures in 2004. Read more... Lee has a role in the upcoming PBS movie, "A Thief of Time," based on Tony Hillerman's Navajo Police series. Click here for more info.

Lee appeared in a reading of a new play, "Trick or Treat" by Craig Harwood. Click here for photos from the event.  In April, he appeared at the Sonoma Valley Film Festival along with mother-daughter directors Agnieszka Holland ("Shot in the Heart') and Kasia Adamik ("Bark"). Two of Lee's films, Bark and Mergers & Acquisitions, were screened at the festival.
 
Mergers & Acquisitions was also screened at the Ashland Film Festival in Ashland, Oregon, from April 3 to April 7.
 

February 2003:  Breaking the Law
Lee and several other members of the Oz cast hosted MTV2's "Breaking the Law," a one-hour look at recording artists who've been in trouble with the law.  The show debuted Saturday, February 8 on MTV2. 

The Exonerated -- Lee starred as Kerry Max Cook in "The Exonerated," the powerful stage adaptation of "the true stories of six innocent survivors of Death Row."

The Day Jack London Got Pinched -- Tom Fontana's original adaptation of Jack London's "The Road", was presented at the American Globe Theatre in NYC, December 5-8. Lee appeared along with other Oz cast members Kirk Acevedo, MuMs, and Scott William Winters, as well as Fontana himself, in five performances to benefit the theatre. Tickets to the Friday and Saturday night shows also included drinks with the cast.

An article from David Guarino's "Profiles in Oz" series in the Windy City Times tells the world what Tergesen fans have known for years. Don't miss that one. Lee was also featured in the February 18 issue of The Advocate, and the winter issue of CRUNCH magazine (a transcription of that article can be found here.) A mention of Oz's final days appeared (along with a pretty little photo) on CNN.com on January 17. Check out the press page for other articles on the final season of Oz.

Lee and Tom Fontana offered several possibilities for Oz spinoffs in the January issue of Esquire... click here to check 'em out. (Thanks to Lindsey for the scan!) Fontana has also posted a longer list, including many that didn't appear in the magazine, on his own website.

On December 3, Lee and Tom Fontana did an interview on NPR's The Leonard Lopate Show. The audio is available in the show's archives.

Lee was a guest on the WB-11 Morning News on December 2. 

Members of the cast of "Oz" appeared at Kanvas in NYC on October 7, 2002, for the opening of a portrait photography exhibit by Jim Cox. The exhibit featured portraits of the Oz cast and crew. Several of Jim's wonderful portraits of Lee are now being displayed here on the site; you can find them here. Also, check out some of the photos taken by fans who attended the opening.
