The Exonerated, a made-for TV film which aired on Court TV in January 2005, is a cinematic adaptation of the award-winning off-Broadway play of the same name.  The play focuses on the stories of six innocent people who spent years on death row before finally being released.

As Lee fans already know, Lee appeared in the stage version of "The Exonerated" in New York in January 2003.  In that version, Lee played the role of Kerry Max Cook.  That role is played by Aidan Quinn in this film version, while Lee appears briefly as Walter Rhodes.
